Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Offrz (“we”, “us”), a Shopify app that lets shoppers make an offer on a merchant’s products and lets the merchant accept, counter, or decline it. By installing or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The service

Offrz adds a “Make an offer” button to the product pages you choose, creates the discount and checkout for an accepted offer, and records each offer and its status so you can act on it. You are responsible for the offer rules and prices you configure and for the orders that result from them.

Your account

You must have a Shopify store in good standing and the authority to install apps on it. You are responsible for keeping your Shopify account secure and for the activity of the staff users who access the app on your behalf.

Notifications and SMS

The app can notify you when an offer needs your decision, by email and, if you opt in, by SMS text message. SMS is optional and off by default. You enable it and provide your own mobile number in Settings → Merchant alerts. By entering your number and checking the consent box there, you agree to receive automated transactional texts from Offrz about offers on your store that need review.

SMS is optional and off by default. A merchant turns it on themselves, in the app:

  1. In the Offrz app (Shopify admin), open Settings → Merchant alerts.
  2. Check “Yes, text me about my account notifications” — unchecked by default, never pre-selected.
  3. Enter your own US mobile number in the field below it.
  4. Save. Consent to texts is not required to use the app.

Merchant alerts

OptionalText messages are completely optional. You can skip this and keep full access to every Offrz feature — nothing here is required to install or use the app. Leave the box below unchecked to decline.

I agree to receive automated transactional text messages from Offrz, at the mobile number I provide, when my store has an account notification that needs my review. Works alongside email — turn on either or both.

Don’t want texts? Simply leave this unchecked — you’ll still get email notifications and full access to the app.

Message frequency varies with how many notifications your store receives. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to unsubscribe or HELP for help — you can also turn texts off here at any time. Consent to texts isn’t required to use the app. See our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Consent is never pre-selected: the checkbox is unchecked by default, and the mobile-number field stays disabled until the merchant actively checks it. Turning the box off (or replying STOP) stops all texts.

You confirm that any mobile number you enter is your own and that you are authorized to receive messages at it.

Billing

Paid plans and any commission on converted offers are billed through Shopify under the pricing shown at install and in the app. Shopify handles payment; we never see your card details. Charges are governed by Shopify’s billing terms in addition to these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app: no attempting to break, overload, or reverse-engineer it, no using it to violate the law or Shopify’s terms, and no using it to send messages to numbers that are not your own.

Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the three months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached. On uninstall we delete the data we hold for your store as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above and, where required, notified to merchants in the app.
